Inspire Pathways To Access and Inclusion

Everyone should have the support and ability to participate, grow and excel in triathlon/multisport. Funding toward this pillar delivers resources for Together, We Thrive – USA Triathlon’s diversity, equity, inclusion and access initiative. It empowers individuals to experience the virtues of multisport and provides opportunities for members of underrepresented populations, adaptive athletes, and women to realize their athletic dreams and progress through leadership pathways in the sport.

Philanthropic support for this pillar will help encourage a culture of equality in the sport, build a future for the sport that all people can see themselves being a part of, break through barriers of entry to the sport for underserved and underrepresented individuals and communities, and empower individuals and organizations to educate and engage the multisport community to drive actionable change in their respective local communities.Make a gift and your tax-deductible donation will help our sport represent the diversity of our country.

In conjunction with this pillar, we are excited to launch Team Thrive. The mission of Team Thrive is to create access and opportunities for neurodiverse athletes to race at USA Triathlon Nationals this August, in Milwaukee, WI. Approximately 6.5 million people in the United States have an intellectual Impairment, with neurodiverse athletes being underrepresented in the triathlon community. Team Thrive is open to any person with Down Syndrome, Autism, Fragile X Syndrome, and any other intellectual impairments that impact cognitive abilities. Team Thrive will be funded by the USA Triathlon Foundation.
